General Information
The DCMP media library has over 4,000 free-loan described and captioned media titles available to registered Level 2 members,
and our members can watch media online or order a DVD copy to be shipped to them.
From astronomy to zoology, you’re sure to find it here! Remember, you can always
recommend media
to the DCMP.
Everyone can browse through a listing of topics, selecting a topic of interest. Under each topic are subjects pertaining to that topic.
Clicking a subject reveals all the related titles for that subject. You can filter to see only the type of media
with the kind of accessibility features you need. You can also save specific titles or entire subject areas to your Favorites,
or you can select titles for borrowing. Titles also link to descriptive pages that provide detailed information for each item.
Everyone can search for an item using the same search interface made familiar by Google, which works especially well by finding
keywords used in descriptions. Each title links to a descriptive page that provides detailed information, including
which formats
are available, the running time, appropriate grade level, production year, producer, whether there is an available lesson guide,
and under which subject areas the title is categorized.
Any registered member can save any title or subject to their Favorites and return to that listing at any time.
The listing can also be printed as a catalog-on-demand.
